Over the last few issues of Osteopathy Today, we have reported that the way in which osteopaths conduct their CPD is changing. One of the requirements of the new system, which will become mandatory in 2018, is that osteopaths will now need to provide evidence of objective feedback on their practice as part of their CPD portfolio. This might include feedback from osteopathic or other medical colleagues, but would also include feedback from patients that has positively influenced the way they work.
But how do you obtain unbiased, reliable patient feedback when you are running a busy clinic? In this article, we discuss how the new, free osteopathic PROMs App, developed by the National Council for Osteopathic Research (NCOR) and part funded by the iO, can do this for you.
